Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://temptation1717.com and any purchase you make from Temptation LLC (“Temptation,” “we,” “us”), a Virginia limited liability company. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter a binding contract to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method you choose.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the items in your cart. Your order is accepted only when we send an order confirmation or the item ships. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable, if there was a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you already paid for, we will refund it.

Made to order

Temptation products are printed on demand and fulfilled by our print partner (Printful). Each item is produced specifically for your order after you buy it — we do not hold inventory. Because items are made to order, our return and refund rules are specific to print-on-demand goods. Please read the Refund & Returns Policy before you buy. Slight variations in color, placement, and finish are normal for printed products and are not defects.

Pricing and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars and may change at any time before you order. Applicable taxes and shipping are shown at checkout.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorize the charge for your order total, including tax and shipping. Payment is taken in full at the time you order — including preorders, which are charged immediately when you reserve (see Preorders and numbered drops below).
• We are not responsible for any bank, card, or currency-conversion fees your provider may add.
• If a price or product description is clearly wrong, we may cancel the affected order even after it is placed, and refund any payment.

Preorders and numbered drops

Temptation releases work as numbered, limited drops. Some editions are offered as preorders before a drop is produced. Preordering reserves your edition of an upcoming drop; the following terms apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.

• Payment in full at reserve. When you preorder, you pay the full price immediately — the same as any other order. Your card is charged at checkout, not when the item ships.
• Production happens after the drop closes. Preorder items are not made or held in advance. They are produced on demand after the drop’s production/release date, then shipped. Each drop shows an expected “ships by” window at the time you reserve.
• Estimated timelines. Preorder and “ships by” dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Production and delivery windows are described in the Shipping Policy.
• Cancelling a preorder. Because preorder items are made to order, you may cancel a preorder for a full refund at any time before it enters production — up to the drop’s production/release date. Once production begins, the made-to-order no-change-of-mind rule in the Refund & Returns Policy applies.
• If a drop is delayed. If a drop’s production or ship date slips materially, we will let you know. If the delay pushes shipping well beyond the “ships by” window we quoted, you may cancel for a full refund.
• If a drop is pulled or cannot be produced. If we cancel a drop, or cannot produce an edition you preordered, we will cancel the affected order and refund it in full.
• Limited and never restocked. Numbered and limited drops sell out and are marked “Archived.” We do not restock or reprint archived drops. Reserving does not guarantee an edition until your payment completes.

Shipping and delivery

Production and shipping times, and who to contact about a delivery, are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and once an order is handed to the carrier, delivery is subject to their handling.

Intellectual property

The Temptation name, logo, artwork, engravings, product designs, photography, and site content are owned by Temptation LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Buying a product gives you the physical item; it does not transfer any rights in the artwork or brand. You may not copy, resell, reproduce, or use our designs or content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or copy content at scale, or use it to infringe anyone’s rights. We may suspend access if these Terms are misused.

Disclaimers

The site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Temptation LLC and its owners and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or a product. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect is the one posted here, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
